Isasumi Shrine Iris Garden

The Iris Garden, with 100,000 irises of 150 varieties in full bloom, is a perfect match for Isasumi Shrine.
The flowers come in a wide variety of colors, including white, purple, blue, red, and yellow, and the garden boasts many famous flowers, such as Yang Kihi, Yomeimon, Chigoke-shou, and Aichi-no-hiki.

Red buckwheat flowers in Higashiomata

Soba flowers are usually white, but in Higashiomata, red “red soba” can be seen, which is rare in Japan.
The berries are eaten just like regular soba.

Autumn leaves at Ice ball pass, which leads from Aizu Misato Town to Ouchi-juku in only 30 minutes by car, is also beautiful in autumn, when you can enjoy the autumn foliage looking down from the pass.

Along Route 401 leading to Hakase Pass, there is a peaceful rural landscape, dotted with traditional villages.
